About Tara Thompson
Tara Thompson is an impressive law clerk at the Austin Hagee Law Firm with a strong academic background and an array of professional experiences. Tara is currently a candidate for Doctor of Jurisprudence at St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio, TX. Her extensive studies have equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the law, and she brings valuable skills and experience to her role at Austin Hagee Law.
Prior to law school, Tara graduated cum laude from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Law and minoring in Spanish. She studied abroad at the Universidad de Alcalá in Alcalá de Henares, Spain, an experience that broadened her understanding of diverse legal systems and cultures. Tara went on to earn her Master of Legal Studies with a concentration in Criminal Law and Policy from the University of Arizona College of Law in Tucson, AZ. She graduated magna cum laude, showcasing her exceptional academic abilities and her dedication to criminal law.
Tara has gained valuable experience in the legal field as a paralegal at two different law firms in Tucson, AZ. In these roles, she communicated with clients, prepared cases for litigation, assisted attorneys, conducted legal research, drafted pleadings, and organized client files. As a paralegal, Tara developed excellent research and analytical skills, which enable her to delve deep into complex legal issues.
Tara’s strong analytical and written skills allow her to help attorneys analyze discovery and draft convincing legal arguments. With her academic achievements, paralegal experience and excellent client communication skills, Tara is a valued member of the legal team at the Austin Hagee Law Firm.
When she isn’t working or studying, Tara enjoys reading, socializing with her friends, and playing with her puppy, Koda.
